2006 Season Points

Championship Format

• Points Series races will not begin until AFTER the Grands Event.
  

• There are 13 points races on the schedule. 
  

• At the Handlers meeting on October 29th, a pill drawn from a hat that will determine how many points races will count to toward points Championship in each division.  (Ex:  If only 11 races are completed due to weather then we will use a variety of numbers such as 6, 8, or 10 to determine the number of races that will be used to calculate the Points Champion.) 
  

• Must be Minimum of 3 cars in a class to count for points (ex: if only 2 cars race in Heavy Mod then no points awarded for Heats and Features). 
  

• We will use each drivers best weekly race finishes to determine points totals and Champions.
  

• The weeks that will be utilized in determining points will be the combined best heat and feature points for a weekly race (no mixing and matching of Heats from one week and a Feature from another week).
